The New Year Holiday at Rudloe Hall

A Warm Welcome To You From Rudloe Hall.

Step in to the warmth of the hotel and check in to your room anytime after 2pm. On your arrival some Chocolates will be waiting for you in the room.

The afternoon is for exploring or relaxing. In the evening you will be served a three course dinner a la carte served in front of the roaring log fire in the Chandelier Restaurant.

Conclude the evening with tea or coffee and petit four in the lounge or room with a complimentary glass of liquor.

New Year's Eve


A freshly-baked European breakfast will be served by the logfire in Chandelier's restaurant until 9.30am. Spend the morning relaxing in the drawing room or taking a stroll in our gardens.

Enjoy a swim in our indoor swimming pool or treat yourselves to a relaxing woodland walk that will refresh and revive you both bodily and mentally!

A perfect day for exploring the surroundings or to stay in and just relax all day. Afternoon tea or coffee with mince pies and a complimentary glass of sherry or port will be served in the Lounge, Bar or bedroom for all guests in the hotel.

Cocktail Reception in the bar before enjoying a 6 course gourmet meal served in front of the roaring log fire in the Chandelier Restaurant, followed by tea or coffee and petit four.

Midnight celebrations with a glass of champagne to welcome in a prosperous New Year, in the lounge or for more privacy in your own room.

New Year's Day


Early breakfast or a long sleep-in. Full English Breakfast will be served in the Chandeliers Restaurant until 9.30am. Depart at your leisure. Many thanks for deciding to spend the New Year with us... and we look forward to your return again next year...

For this special holiday period,a deposit of 50% is required to secure the booking and the final balance is to be paid in full by Sunday 30th November 2008. Please note that deposits are not refundable and that the balance is non refundable after the 1st of December 2008. This includes non-arrivals & reduction of the stay Of course, if Rudloe Hall is able to resell your room we will be happy to refund payments made.

Queen Double (rooms 1, 2 and 3)
Lovely double rooms with en suite bathroom.

Executive Double (room 4)
A large sunny room with antique mahogany furniture, en suite, walk-in shower and views of the rear gardens.

Queen Four Poster (room 5)
High ceiling, stone mullion bay window, beautiful antique Victorian four poster bed, Victorian working coal fireplace, lovely views of the lawns and Victorian Gardens.

The Half Tester (room 6)
A sunny corner room with a Half Tester bed, two tall stone mullion windows, both overlooking the Victorian gardens, one with the view of the Box valley.

Queen Four Poster (room 7)
As Room 5 but with a magnificent 17th century, carved-oak four poster bed, Victorian coal fireplace and the stunning Box Valley view of Bath. A huge ensuite bathroom with the same view through a stone mullion window.

The Master Bedroom (room 8)
An exceptionally large room with a massive Kent four poster heavily carved oak bed (full Tester). A lovely setting around the coal fire and complete with a chaise lounge. Wooded views.

Victorian Bather (room 9)
A very special room with a Victorian Bathing alcove (picture in brochure) and a large ensuite bathroom with shower. Boasts a lovely 17th Century four poster bed ,open coal fire and although not as large as the other four poster rooms, it has the best views of the Box Valley and is so romantic and charming.

Period Bather (rooms 10 and 11)
Character cottage-style rooms with exposed beams and partly sloping ceilings. Antique brass beds, Victorian bathing alcoves and open Victorian fireplaces.

The Tower Suite (room 12)
This unique, rather eccentric suite is a real joy. There are three separate rooms. A large beamed ceiling in the bedroom/lounge with working fireplace and arched stone mullion window is on the first level, which leads through to a large Victorian ensuite with two Victorian wash hand-basins and roll-top bath & shower. A stairway leads to the tower breakfast/sitting room with a sunny stone balcony and open air hot water spa bath. At the top of the tower is a room with a single Duchess bed for an extra guest. All the windows are arched stone mullion with incredible views! In this suite you are right on top of Rudloe Hall and right on top of Box Hill!
